Individual alumnus should kindly browse or search the Alumni Directory on this site to ascertain if their full details are already in the database. Alumnus whose current contact details are not yet in the database should send in the following information through the Contact Us link on the Home page, or email the information to arcis@mail.ui.edu.ng:

ARCIS Online Bachelors Degree Programme

ARCIS is planning to start an online bachelor's degree programme by 2011/2012 session. The idea of offering the online programme is as a result of the ever growing need for Information Scientists in Nigeria at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. A market survey for the proposed programme is now being undertaken among prospective employers of the graduates of the programme in Nigerian private and public sector organisations, ARCIS alumni and undergraduate student in both residential and distance learning programmes in Nigerian universities. The aim of the survey is to better understand the skills requirements expected by graduates of the proposed programme, market potential for the graduates and the operational and logistical requirements for delivering an online programme in the Nigerian environment.
